Daniel Robert West

December 11, 1976 – August 20, 2021

Daniel Robert West lifelong resident of El Cerrito, CA passed away August 20, 2021, due to complications with Diabetes. He was 44 years old.

A devoted father, loving son, Daniel was born in Richmond, Ca and attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. He would go on to attend various schools in the area, graduating high school in 1994. Daniel then went on to attend Wyotech, from which he got his degree. He was a Painting Contractor for nearly 20 years, but in 2010 his health started to decline and Daniel had to stay home to tend to his needs.

Daniel was an avid “Oakland” Raiders and lifetime A’s fan. He enjoyed collecting miniature cars, trains and figurines – he had quite a “toy collection”. Daniel was very outgoing and known to talk to anybody about anything, however his favorite subject was food! Talking food and watching shows dedicated to food was Daniel’s most recent passion.

Father, Paul West preceded Daniel in death. Mother, Norma West; sons, Andrew, Cody and Hunter; sister, Rebecca and her husband, Sean; brother, Michael and his wife, Rebecca, niece, Emily and Nephew, Gabriel as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends are left to cherish Daniel’s memory and carry on his legacy.
