David Arthur Rogers

October 18, 1958 – November 13, 2020

David Arthur Rogers was born October 18, 1958 in Oakland, CA to Arthur and Joetta Rogers.  He continued living in the Bay Area for the remainder of his life. On November 13, 2020 with his love by his side, David passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62.

David was a kindhearted gentleman with a great sense of humor. His interests included his fan ship of the Cal Bears, the Forty-niners, the Giants and the A’s as well as cars. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and loved traveling to Hawaii. He was also a contributor to the organization ARF (the Animal Rescue Foundation founded by Tony La Russa).

His wife, Barbara K. Rogers and his father, Arthur Rogers, preceded David in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé, Julie Mitchell, her daughters, Lexi and Brianna, his mother Joetta Rogers; sister, Carol Wortner and nephews, Eric and Scot Wortner; as well as his good friends Rajen and Reshma Jawale.
