Mr. Donnie Roy Pride

February 20, 1949 – March 18, 2021

Donnie Roy Pride, was born in Martinez, CA February 20, 1949. He was raised in the Richmond area and lived there his entire life. During his life, Donnie was a jack-of-all-trades. However, he most enjoyed working on his cars, spending time with his family and singing! All three brought him great pleasure and happiness.

Donnie and his longtime life companion, wife Betty Miles were together for more than 49 years. Of this union one son was born, Derrick Pride. He had three grandchildren, DeAjane Pride, Deante Pride and Deandre Pride; as well as two-great-grandchildren, Deandre Parker and Mackenzie Pride. Donnie also leaves two siblings, Kenny and Diane Pride; as well as a host of in-laws including mother-in-law, Irene McNealy; sister and brothers-in-law, Diane McNealy, Michael McNealy, and Johnny McNealy; Nephews and nieces, Danny McNealy, Terrence Williamson, Robbie Williamson and Jenika Whitelaw.

Siblings, Junior Pride, Gregory Pride, Connie Pride and Marvin Pride all preceded Donnie in death.

Those that knew and loved Donnie will miss his laughter and good sense of humor, but will also find comfort knowing that he is now at peace and residing with the Lord and those loved ones that have gone before him.
