Evelyn P Beavers

Mrs. Evelyne P. Beavers daughter of the late John M. Payne and Jessie Maude Flowers, was born May 5, 1921 in Lenior, North Carolina.  She attended public schools in Caldwell County where she graduated high school.  After high school she moved to Washington DC and worked for the Defense Department where she met her husband Bronston Beavers who was enlisted in the Navy.

She was united in matrimony to Bronston Beavers on May of 1944.  They had one adopted son, John M. Beavers.  Bronston Beavers proceeded her in death on May 25, 2007.

Mrs. Beavers was an active volunteer at the Richmond Mission and the Richmond Museum. She and her husband were theatre ushers in San Francisco. She was a dedicated homemaker, PTA volunteer and a devoted mother to her son John. Her Christian life was beautiful always taking care of others.  She attended St. Luke’s Methodist Church in Richmond.  Here influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.  She quietly departed this life on August 1, 2020 at her home in Richmond, Ca.  She is survived by her son John M. Beavers.  Funeral visitation will be at Wilson and Kratzer in Richmond on August 20,2020 from noon until 2:00 pm.  Her cremations along with her husband’s will be buried in the Sacramento Veterans Cemetery.
