Floriberto Canelo

October 29, 1944 – December 15, 2019

Floriberto Canelo was born October 29, 1944 in Mexico to the late Francisco and Consuelo Canelo. He married the love of his life, Araceli Rosillo in 1963; in 1972 he migrated to California and in 1975, Araceli would join him along with daughter, Laura and son, Frank. Floriberto began working as a Custodian in San Francisco’s Business District, until his retirement in 2006. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, and after retirement Floriberto was known for his love of walking everywhere and talking to everyone he met along the way (including the neighborhood dogs). His grandkids will remember his sense of humor; his friends will remember him for his generosity; and everyone will remember him as a well-loved man.

Floriberto leaves his wife of 56 years, Araceli R. Canelo; daughter, Laura Canelo, sons, Francisco, Floriberto, Jr, and Mauricio Canelo; grandchildren, Gabriel and Araceli Tirado, Maite Preciado, Francisco Canelo, Jr., Brittany Yingling, Christian Canelo, Valentino and Amado Canelo, and Mauricio Morales.
