Freddie Davis was born in Call, Texas on April 4th, 1938 to Leander F. Davis and Thelma Owens. He attended school in the Richmond Unified School District. He played in the Oakland McClymonds High School band and later graduated in 1956.
Freddie was joined in Holy Matrimony with Mary Patterson in 1956. From this union, four children were born.
Freddie worked as a Longshoreman for 42 years. His life was his family. He enjoyed bowling, photography, landscaping, and traveling.
Freddie leaves his wife, Mary A. Davis, his daughters Freda Davis, Debra Caldwell, Natalie Boone, and son Leander Davis, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, brother Clinton Davis, sister Betty Johnson, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn his passing.
Freddie departed this life on June 11th, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Elizabeth Owens, his parents Leander and Thelma Davis and his sister Elizabeth Davis.
