Glorya Dean Prewitt was born in Oakland California on May 1, 1947 to Barry and Dorothy Prewitt. She moved to Richmond Ca when she was 16 year old. She graduated from Harry Els High School in 1965. Glorya accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church for several years. Glorya had a career as a postal worker and later became a CNA.
Glorya loved to read, cook, shop, and listen to music. She was truly excited any time she spent with her family. She lived in Richmond for 58 years. Glorya’s mother and father preceded her in death.

Glorya Prewitt leaves to mourn one sister Pamela Booker of Richmond Ca. Two brothers Albert Donnell Prewitt of Sacramento Ca and Carnial Johnson Jr. of Richmond Ca. A nephew and niece Carnial Booker Sr. and Vranda Booker of Richmond Ca. A great niece Chansylor Booker, great nephew Carnial Booker Jr. An aunt, Thelma Mc Dowell of Richmond Ca. and host of cousins, family, and friends.
