Helen M. Haugh

July 29, 1918 - December 17, 2018

Helen McCarthy Haugh, age 100, died peacefully on December 17, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Haugh, her parents, Daniel and Hannah McCarthy, and brother, Dennis McCarthy.  Helen is survived by her loving family, daughter, Bonnie Pallotta (Emile), and sons, Dennis Haugh (Elise), and Kevin Haugh (Dayna).  She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

 Helen was born in Crockett, Calif, where she lived a full and active life devoted to her family and her church, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Helen had worked at the C&H Sugar Refinery and was active in the Carquinez Women's Club.  She and Tommy enjoyed over sixty years of marriage and loved time spent together traveling with their many friends.   A highlight of Helen's life was visiting Ireland and the home in which her father was born.  

Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, at 11:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 555 Third Ave., Crockett.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
