Jacqueline Keala

Jacqueline “Jackie” Keller Keala died peacefully on  Wednesday, February 26, 2020.  She was born on September 19, 1937 in Alameda, California to Emil Llewellyn and Rose Thelma Keller and raised in San Francisco. Jackie is the youngest of five children, all of whom have preceded her in death.
Jackie was working at Pacific Bell as a telephone operator at the time she met Sheldon Kuuipo Keala.  The couple eventually married on August 17, 1960 in the Los Angeles California Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.   She supported them as Sheldon earned his degree at Oregon State University.  Upon his graduation they moved back to the Bay Area where she devoted herself to full-time motherhood.  She is dearly loved by her children and grandchildren.  Jackie is fondly remembered for her unconditional love, acceptance, enthusiasm, and dedication to desserts!  She later returned to working outside the home at TransAmerica Title, where she eventually retired from after nearly 25 years.  Her faith guided her as she walked her path on earth.  She lived her life as a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ.
Jackie is survived by Sheldon (who sadly is not with us today due to his ongoing battle with Alzheimer’s), her four children; Karan, Kristine, Kalani and Kurtis, her 12 grandchildren; Kristen, Lindsay, Shauna, Karenna, Brooke, Anya, Ashley, Julia, Hannah, Allyson, Tyler and Micah, and her 6 great-grandchildren; Sam, Ellen, Kate, Josie, Lydia and Charlie.
