Mrs Jodie Mae Cummings

Jodie Mae Cummings was born Jodie Mae McKelvy July 21, 1939 in Hooke Texas to Joe McKelvy of Arkansas and Sally McKelvy of Hooke Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Cummings, her mother and father, her brothers Eurl, Joe, and Sandy McKelvy and sisters Bonnie Ray and Loretta McKelvy. Her only living brother Will McKelvy and wife (Cynthia) Sister-in-law Darlyne Robinson, her daughter Robin Cummings of Richmond, her grandchildren Orlandria Cummings (Fred) of Vallejo, Francine Hurley of Richmond CA. and Nicole Williams of Pinole CA.

Her great granchildrem Yuseef Turner, Jaylee Wilford, Bishop Newell and Logan Newell and Brian Adams, Great great grand granddaughter Eva. Great Nieces: Jasmine (James) Carter, Meagan Kelley and Nephews: Maurice and Morgan Powe.

And a host of nieces and nephews cousins and friends.

Jodie grew up in Richmond Ca. Graduating from Richmond High in 1957.

She started her nursing career at Tera Linda Hospital as a nurses assistant and went on to further her education and became LVN and started working at Kaiser

Hospital in Richmond in 1968. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, canning and drawing. She found Christ with Apostle Jones of Richmond.
