Mrs Low Chiem Saephan

Low Chiem Saephan, born on Jan 1, 1952 in her home country of Laos. Daughter of Farm Seng Saephan and Fou Chiem Saephan. Fearless mother to 4 daughters and 4 sons. Loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren, who were the lights of her life. In 1986 she began a new life when she arrived in the United States. While deeply embedded in the traditions of her culture she understood the value in seeing the world from two different lenses. She considered herself blessed with “Luck“ and knew when to play her hand in life. She found peace under the sun, understanding the flow of nature, and tending the vegetables and herbs with her expert green thumb. Her love for food flowed from the gardens into the kitchen where she was another master. With her big heart, all were welcomed at her table, where there was always an abundance of food and laughter. She emphasized the importance of family, togetherness, and was always willing to help her children and others. She was tough but respected, kind, giving and will continue to be admired by all who she’s touched.Your memory will forever live on as you will always be in our hearts, we love you Mom.
