LUTHER RAY THROWER III

Luther, or Luke, as he liked to be called, was born on July 8, 1971 in San Pablo California, to Gloria Antoinette Thrower (Conwright) and Luther R. Thrower, Jr.  He departed this life on Monday, May 4, 2020.  During his lifetime, Luther had a strong and enduring belief in God

He attended public schools in San Pablo and Richmond, CA.  During his senior year in high school, he lived and was cared for by his grandmother, Beauty (Ga Ga) and grandfather Ollie Neal.  In 1989, he graduated from Huttig High School in Arkansas.

After High School he returned to California and in 1990 he joined the United States Marine Corps where he had the opportunity to travel extensively to places such as Hong Kong and Australia.  After being discharged, he moved back to California where he lived with his father and step-mother, Judy.   He later moved to Florida to be near his mother.  He spent the last several years of his life in Las Vegas Nevada where he met and lived with his girlfriend Kristen Mitschelen.

Luther was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  Three loving daughters, Ashley Leichmon of Louisiana, Krystani Harvey of Missouri, and Amber Johnson of Georgia and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and friends.  He loved them all.
