Mr.Rowe Booker was born in Greenville, Mississippi on January 16, 1954
to the proud parents Claudis, who preceded him in death, and Julia Green.
The family moved to California in 1955. Rowe was baptized and confirmed
at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Berkeley, California in 1965 and
attended the church for many years. He graduated from Berkeley High In
1972.
Rowe met Pamela Johnson in 1973. Their only child, Carnial Booker was
born in 1975. They married in 1976. Rowe loved baseball and football, but
he especially loved basketball and he played the sport passionately during
his younger years.
Rowe Booker departed this life on November 6, 2020 after a long illness.
11 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith,
Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness.
He leaves to mourn his passing his mother Mrs. Julia Green of Berkeley,
California: his wife Pamela Booker of Richmond, California; One son
Carnial L. Booker Sr. and his wife Vranda Booker of Richmond, California;
Two grandchildren: Chansylor L. Booker and Carnial L. Booker Jr. both of
Richmond, California. Two sisters: Sandra Brown of San Leandro,
California and Marilyn Booker of Berkeley, California; An aunt and uncle:
Albert and Mabel Bryant Sr. of Washington DC; Seven nieces and
nephews: Christopher Brown, Sherelle and Raynell Cook, Dawnyel Towles,
Brandy Blue, Brandon and Breanna Dawson,and a nephew Kevin Brown,
who preceded him in death and a host of grandnieces and nephews,
cousins and friends.

 

I love you granddaddy and I miss you so much already. I will never forget you. You will forever
be in my heart.

Thank you Pops for always being a part of my life and for teaching me how to be a man. Thank
