Runda Renay Lanier, age 60, passed away on December 22, 2020. She was born September 10, 1960 to Johnnie Mary Lanier and Earl Lanier. She is survived by her three children, Leonesha Renee Barrow, Melvin McDowell, Jr., and Tony Antione McDowell, 7 grandchildren, De’Jon Jamonte Sylvain, Jeremiah McDowell, Antonio McDowell, Aldez McDowell, Joseph McDowell, Chase McDowell and Chasity McDowell, 2 brothers, Donald Bernard Dotson, Robert Earl Lanier and 2 sisters, Helen Louise Lanier and Alice Marie Lanier, aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Runda is preceded in death by her mother, father and baby sister Latricia “Hambone” Peoples. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, drinking coffee or Coca Cola, talking with friends and family, taking walks, sitting at the park, reading her bible, listening to music, dancing and laughing. She had a loving spirit and a heart bigger than herself. She was loved by all and will be truly missed.
