Tribute

Virginia Lee Pariseau
Resident of Fairfield, CA 94533
January 1 1939 - February 21, 2021

Virginia Lee Pariseau passed peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2021 after a valiant battle with Cancer.
Virginia was born in Potwin, Kansas on New Years Day, 1939 to Elbert & Bessie Lee Morris.
Virginia moved to California with her first husband Don and 3 children in 1962 where they had
their 4th child. Virginia was baptised on October 17, 1974 and was devoted to instilling her love
of God to her family. She loved to cook and care for her children, but she always yearned to
travel. She took her love of caring for her children a step further, becoming a nurse at a
convalescent hospital; then choosing self-employment as an in-home care nurse.
After her children were grown and her divorce from Don, she began to follow her dream of
traveling. She wanted to see and experience as much as possible. And she did! When she met
Bob in the late 80’s and married him July 23, 1992, she found her traveling companion. The two
of them outfitted a van and hit the road. After the passing of her husband, Bob, she continued to
travel extensively. She took cruises to Alaska, Hawaii and to Panama. She eventually visited
most every state in the U.S.A. One of her favorite trips was driving historic route 66 which she
did many times in her travels, including her many trips to Kansas for family reunions. A
highlight of her adventures was a 2005 trip with her 15 year old grandson Vincent to
Philadelphia, Washington D.C. New York City and the Niagara Falls, where they viewed the falls from a helicopter.

Virginia is survived by her four children Donella Deck, Nevada; Donetta and (Greg Rouw),
Newcastle, CA; Donald Deck, Vallejo, CA; and Donovan and (Kathryn) Deck, Angels Camp,
CA and grandchildren Eric Books, Antioch, CA and Nicole Brooks, San Francisco, CA and
Vincent and Rachel Murdoch of LaMarque, Texas. Also survived by her siblings Jim, Sam and
Sandy Morris, and many other nieces and nephews across the midwest. Preceded in death by her
loving husband, Robert, and her brothers Tom and Ron Morris.

After a full and adventurous life, she has taken the ultimate journey. Some of her last words
were, “I get to see the face of Jesus”. Her generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to the graveside burial service on Friday, March 5, 2021 at
