Resident of San Pablo, CA

Lucy Alvarez went to Heaven on September 8th with her children at her side.

A loving wife to Angel Alvarez, loving mother to Nick and Cheryl Alvarez and loving grandmother to Natalie Alvarez.

Lucy was the daughter of Edward and Ramona Navarro, born in Oakland, California, and grew up in Berkeley, California. She is preceded in death and now joining her family – Mom - Ramona, Dad – Edward and brothers – Rick, Jack, Jim, Herm, Frank, Lou, Richie and sister Chita.

Lucy is survived by her sister Connie and brothers Babe and Bob Navarro, nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

After having her children she worked with the Richmond Unified School District where often you would find her on her birthday dressed up for Halloween.  Mom loved traveling, watching her soap opera and talking daily with her family and friends. 

The world has lost one of the most caring and fun loving people.

She will be forever missed.
